After graduating from the MA in Literary and Comparative Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University, Nicole Lai now works in the field of education innovation at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. As a Hongkonger, writing poems is her little escape when nobody hears her. Her poems have appeared in Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine, EDGE: HKBU Creative Journal, Agora, and Tiny Seed Literary Journal.
